Jennifer Kaufmann is a Licensed Master Social Worker who holds a master’s degree in social work from Walden University. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Delaware.
Jen brings an empathetic and empowering approach to children, teens, and adults, utilizing a person-centered philosophy that thoughtfully considers how environmental factors influence well-being. By drawing from an eclectic mix of therapeutic methods—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy for children—Jen is dedicated to supporting clients facing depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Her compassionate guidance helps individuals navigate difficult circumstances and fosters resilience and growth.
Jen grew up in Dover, DE, and has called Sussex County home for nearly 20 years. She is actively engaged in the Cape Henlopen School District and currently serves as a board member of the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation (CHEF). Jen is married and a devoted mother to their son. She enjoys reading, fitness, and travel.
